Missions at Flowery Branch UMC

At Flowery Branch UMC, we believe faith is meant to be lived out through love, compassion, and service. Our mission work focuses on caring for our neighbors, supporting families, and meeting real needs both in our community and beyond. From feeding the hungry and encouraging children and youth, to partnering with local ministries and responding in times of hardship, we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Food Pantry Ministry

We serve the homeless through the Helping Hands Box, a box of food items that help someone in immediate need. We also support South Hall Community Food Pantry with weekly food deliveries, food donations and staffing the pantry on a scheduled basis.

August Mission Focus - Pillowcases for Kids with Cancer. We are excited to make pillow cases again this year. We will collect material in August and begin sewing on September 11 & 12. Fill out the form or call the church office to receive a list of fabric requirements and to volunteer. You don’t have to sew - there are many jobs that can help complete this project.

Diaper Drive for South Hall Community Food Pantry - The Golden Achievers are collecting diapers for South Hall Food Pantry. Sizes 1-4 are the most needed. Drop them by the church office during office hours or call the office for special pick up information.

Fall Festival Saturday, Sept. 26

HELP IS NEEDED! How can you reach 10,000 people in one day? The Flowery Branch Fall Festival provides us an opportunity to tell others about the love of Jesus Christ and how they can find him right here in downtown FB! Volunteers are needed to set-up at 8:00am, greet and meet, and take down at 4:00pm. The Volunteer Sign Up Sheet is in the foyer, where you can choose the shift you’d like to work. Please let Bea or Dianne know you can help.

There is a place for everyone in this work. Whether you feel called to serve, have a skill to share, or simply want to help where needed, your presence matters. And if you or someone you know could use support, encouragement, or assistance, we are here for you as well.
