Welcome Pastor Rick Sakal - Assistant Pastor
Rick Sakal grew up in northern Ohio and now resides in Cumming, Georgia, with his wife, Cathy. Together they have two grown daughters, Tara and Katie. Rick enjoys fishing, cooking, and traveling, finding joy in both quiet moments outdoors and time spent with family and friends.
Pastor Rick currently serves as Assistant Pastor at Flowery Branch United Methodist Church, where he works alongside church leadership in worship, discipleship, and congregational care.
A five-time cancer survivor, Rick’s journey of faith has been shaped by perseverance, hope, and a deep trust in God’s grace. His life and ministry reflect a commitment to encouraging others, sharing Christ’s love, and helping people grow in their walk with God.
